I will start with a quick explanation as to why these are needed. In Permadeath Guilds the eventuality is that the core players get better and start to proceed well past the low level content without death. This leaves a player who losses a toon and has to restart or new recuits with only the option of running the low level content without any assistance. The sole reason for having the Assister options in the guild rules is to allow for people to help other guildies in this cause. It is very important to embrace our new recruits in order for the guild to have growth and maintain its current population. Leaving new recruits in the otherwise frustrating situation will only lead them to give up on permadeath as the experience is not enjoyable. To further this cause I have come up with this special ruleset for OFFICIAL ASSISTERS, I hope that all our main players will atleast make one Level 3 Assister which will be able to Assist toons in the level 1-6 range.
OFFICIAL RULES
1) Assister Names - An Official Assister must have a predetermined level, this will be evident in the toons name, all Official Assisters must have your handle and level in the first name (ie. Narctwo) and all Official Assisters must have "An Assister" as their lastname, there will be no exceptions on this for those that wish to qualify for the Assister rewards.
2) Guild Rules - Official Assisters must follow all guild rules with the following exceptions;
A) When assisting in Durk's got a Secret, assisters may loot Muck's chest for Muckbanes only, these Muckbanes must be given to the guild bank for rewards.
B) Once Attaining capped XP and having run Durk's got a Secret on all settings without obtaining a Muckbane, Assisters will be awarded a Muckbane.
C) When repeating a setting assisters may not loot chests, gain end rewards or completion xp. They may however pick up any breakable drops and may acquire any collectibles during their run, this will help mitigate item damage costs as well as allow for assisters to do some Stone of Change Rituals!!! EXCEPTION: Assisters may always choose to select Guild renown from an end reward list
D) Once an Assisters Compendium is capped(both Adventures(Quests 2 levels higher on elite) and Wilderness(any that can be advanced)) he will be considered "Adorned" (a new medal) and will be eligible for any pertinent guild rewards that would help that toon(ie. A collapsed portable hole or ship buffs). Please Note: Raids and Devils Assault are not necessary for adorned[/color]
Notes: I will be adding a new section to the Active Guild Roster for Assisters and they will be posted only when they have capped XP.
Any ideas/comment on this are welcome!!!
