Hello!
After this update you sure will find Champions in Hard and Elite difficulties; I try it on Thelanis server and is like 10-20% of monster are champions, including mini bosses. I just want to warn about this because, based on forum info, could be really dangerous. Isn't supposed to be that high percentage but on Hard/Elite for a PD toon could be another difficult to be care.
I read that some of them have Adrenaline (not WAI) and that could mean a oneshot death, even with high armor. So don't know if Narc could bring a rule exception on PD toons, I only want to put the warning : )
Thanks!

Based off this gaming change, you are playing at your own risk, hopefully the DEVs will allow an option button to turn champions off in heroic settings, please feel free to post about this on the actual DDO forums.
Unfortunately I will be online very little until this has changed, I will be getting Daily Dice and will upgrade peoples status as needed.
I do recommend any subscribed players cancel their subscription and for heavens sake do not spend another penny on the game!!!

From the DDO Forums: www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/453023-Monster-Champion-FeedbackUPDATE 12/16/14: We have reduced the number of Monster Champions that spawn, and also reduced the overall damage boost Champions get. The numbers are now: Hard normal monsters: The percentage chance for a Champion to spawn has been reduced from 12% to 6%. Elite normal monsters: The percentage chance for a Champion to spawn has been reduced from 12% to 9%. Hard Orange named monsters (mini-bosses) is now 33%. Elite Orange named monsters (mini-bosses) is now 66%. Champion Damage boost: Reduced by 25%. Original Post: Now that Update 24 is out, and clearly there's a lot of community interest in discussing the new Monster Champion system, we thought it would be a good idea to consolidate the large number of threads on this topic into an official thread. Please run some quests, give it a bit of time, and provide us with your feedback on the Monster Champion system. We have seen a lot of feedback that appears to be tilted toward Terminal Delerium in particular. It should be noted that Terminal Delerium is an Extreme Challenge dungeon, so particularly if you are running it on Epic Elite, it may not be the best quest to singularly evaluate Monster Champions on. That said, we do appreciate all of your feedback on this topic, regardless of what quest(s) are being used to evaluate the system. Thanks! Post by Cordovan

Still would like to hear some feedback from our guildies on any damages taken by champions, what we are really looking for is anything that might single shot any of our members regardless of gear and skill.
Be warned champions can have a buff called ignore fortification, which means you are not protected from criticals

Before the yesterday nerf to Champions I run with my Druid Kobold New Ring leader on hard and the first bib room was 4 champions that almost kill me, I spent a lot of resourcers but will be able to survive (that's to my wolf companion and wolf summon). The best part is that I don't found a Champion Shaman or sure I was death, hehe.
I will try to do more quest on hard with that toon to see how Hard is it now; I don't want to risk my TR toon testing! : )

Ok, I did Information is the Key and Bringing the Light on Hard, no champions at all. Also did Harverdasher Elite, only Blacktail was champion but forgot to see his buffs, take half the life of my companion wolf on a couple of hits but die easily.
So at least the change makes Hard an option, anyway tomorrow will be an update on the game and don't know what could be changed
